On April 5, 2022, within the PROPED project, the presentation of the companies EGO Zlín, spol. s r. o., LINET spol. s r. o., TSE spol. s r. o., MZ Liberec a. s. took place at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Tirana. The event encourages Czech companies to cooperate in the modernization of the Albanian healthcare system. Albania plans to significantly modernize the health infrastructure, due to its experience with the COVID-19 pandemic, which has identified gaps that need to be addressed and improved. This is primarily due to the lack of bed capacity and the necessary hospital equipment.
The international workshop BIOHAZARD TEAM 2025 took place on 2 December 2025 at the EGO Zlín Academy. Experts from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, and Austria shared their experience in managing high-consequence infectious diseases and provided valuable feedback for further development of equipment and procedures used by biohazard response teams.
